Generating a Content Plan

How content plans fill a week of draft posts from templates, and how to refine and schedule them.

Content plans fill a stretch of a client's social calendar in one step, from Social → Plans (needs the Social Media Management module).

Creating a plan

Pick the client, name the plan, choose a start date, and set how many weeks of drafts to create (four by default). Creating a plan doesn't schedule anything yet — it just sets up what to generate.

Generating drafts

Click Generate on the plan. This fills each week with draft posts built from the client industry's cadence rules and content templates, spaced out across the preferred days and times — it isn't written by AI, so the drafts start as templated copy for you to personalize rather than a first pass to fact-check. Generating a plan again won't duplicate posts that already exist for it.

Refining and scheduling

Each generated post is a draft. Open it in Compose to rewrite the caption, then schedule it or send it to the client for approval.
